Every time we start SQL Server (SSMS) and log in remote server with credentials and do our day
to day activity and at the end of the day we disconnect the connection and again tomorrow morning
we repeat the same thing.
As a database developer i work on 10-15 remote servers daily and repeat the same activity connect and disconnect remote servers. If we can save all remote servers and we need only open explorer
window and do whatever we want to do.
I googled about this and found we have already such type of feature in SQL Server.
Yes we can save all remote servers. We need to do following steps to achieve this.
Step 1: In SMSS click on View menu and then we need to click on Registered Servers

Step 2: Now we need to put all valid data here and close this window.

Step 3: Now we can see all registered servers in Registered Servers window.

That’s It.
Enjoy Learning.
